EcoPark
LondonWaste operates the largest waste incinerator in the UK from its 43 acre EcoPark in Edmonton, north London. In recent years, the waste management industry has seen a steady reduction in the use of landfill as the preferred method of waste disposal, seeking to replace these with alternative methods of dealing with local authority and commercial waste.
As part of this change, LondonWaste appointed Corstorphine + Wright to design a 35,000 sq ft recycling facility which, when complete, will receive and recycle around 100,000 tonnes of municipal waste each year.
