Architectural/Technologist Opportunities in Our Glasgow Studio
Corstorphine & Wright is an award-winning architectural practice with design Studios across the UK. Our 300+ people work across a diverse range of sectors, creating places that foster human connection while adding commercial, civic, environmental and social value.
Following a number of recent project successes and a strengthening pipeline of work, Corstorphine & Wright is looking to grow our team in Glasgow. We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced, delivery-focused architectural professionals who want to play an important role in the continued development of the Studio.
Our immediate priority is to identify an Associate or Associate Director-level individual with strong project delivery and technical leadership experience. Experience within Energy, Manufacturing or Defence would be particularly valuable as we continue to develop our work across these sectors.
But our ambitions for Glasgow go beyond a single appointment.
As the Studio continues to grow, we are also keen to hear from talented Architectural Technologists, and Architectural professionals at a range of levels who are interested in joining a collaborative team with a growing and diverse portfolio of work.
We are looking for people who combine strong design skills, technical capability and a practical approach to project delivery. Depending on experience and seniority, this could include:
· Leading and delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages
· Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
· Producing and overseeing high-quality technical information
· Working confidently in BIM environments, particularly Revit
· Applying a strong understanding of Building Regulations and technical standards
· Building effective relationships with clients, contractors and consultants
· Mentoring and supporting colleagues
· Contributing to the wider development and growth of the Glasgow Studio
This is an exciting point in the development of our Glasgow Studio. Recent project wins are creating opportunities to grow the team, broaden our capabilities and build on the work already being delivered from Glasgow. For the right people, this is an opportunity not simply to join an established architectural practice, but to have a meaningful role in shaping the next stage of our growth in Scotland.
