About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, supporting delivery through all RIBA Plan of Work stages—from inception to completion. We are looking for applicants with significant industry experience, ideally 3 -5 years. You will support project delivery across all stages, providing technical design input and producing detailed information using BIM technologies and 3D modelling tools.

As a Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist, you will enjoy an interesting mix of responsibilities, including:

Producing high-quality technical drawings and documentation in line with company Quality Management procedures

Providing technical support to the wider project team

Liaising with consultants and project stakeholders to ensure timely project progression

Assisting in the preparation of detailed design proposals

Supporting the production of tender information, including drawings, schedules, and specifications

Assisting with planning applications and discharge of planning conditions

Supporting building regulations submissions and liaise with statutory authorities

Providing technical information to contractors during construction phases

Attending internal team meetings, technical reviews, and site meetings as required

About you

We are looking for candidates who possess the following experience and skills:

Proven experience of delivering multiple projects, with strong “job running” capability

Practical experience of using BIM processes and information management, including some understanding of COBie data

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit 

HNC/HND in a relevant discipline or equivalent degree in Architectural Technology/Architecture or equivalent knowledge and experience

Membership of Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists or working towards chartership

Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations

Experience with NBS specification writing (desirable)

Ability to manage workload effectively and meet tight deadlines

Strong organisational, planning, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Experience liaising with clients, contractors, and third parties (desirable)
