Corstorphine & Wright Shortlisted for Two AJ Architecture Awards 2026

Corstorphine & Wright is delighted to announce that two of our projects have been shortlisted for the AJ Architecture Awards 2026, recognising excellence in architecture across the UK.

Our Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease has been shortlisted in the Health and Wellbeing Project category, while Oakley All-through School has been shortlisted in the School Project (£20 million and over) category.

Being recognised across two categories reflects our commitment to creating exceptional environments that positively impact the lives of the people and communities they serve.

Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease

Shortlisted in the Health and Wellbeing Project category, the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease stands as a pioneering healthcare facility designed to provide specialist care, support and dignity for people living with MND and their families.

Developed through close collaboration with clinicians, patients and stakeholders, the centre creates a welcoming and restorative environment that prioritises wellbeing, accessibility and patient experience. The project embodies a people-first approach to healthcare design, delivering spaces that support both clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Oakley All-through School

Shortlisted in the School Project (£20 million and over) category, Oakley All-through School provides a high-quality educational environment that enables students of all ages to learn, develop and thrive.

Designed to bring together primary and secondary education within a unified campus, the project delivers flexible, inclusive and inspiring spaces that support a broad range of learning experiences. The school has been carefully designed to foster collaboration, wellbeing and a strong sense of community, creating a lasting positive impact for students, staff and families.

We are incredibly proud to see both projects acknowledged by the judges.
This year’s AJ Architecture Awards will take place on Thursday 26 November 2026 at the Royal Lancaster London Hotel, and we are looking forward to joining our peers from across the industry for what promises to be a fantastic evening celebrating architectural excellence.
