On behalf of Tellon, Corstorphine + Wright have been asked to prepare a proposal for the refurbishment of number 50 the High Street, Sheffield. The building is currently occupied by retail over two levels, however there are four disused levels above. These floors have already been stripped out of their previous retail use and the intention is to adapt it into Student accommodation, housing a mix of cluster apartments and studio units above the existing retail units.

The site which is located in the retail heart of the city, is in easy reach of all amenities and is easily accessible via public transport including public buses, the railway and tram which all pass close by to the site.

Immediately opposite is Sheffield Hallam University’s Oneleven building and it’s city campus is a 5minute walk to the South. The main University of Sheffield buildings and students’ union are a 20minute walk to the West, making the site ideally located for student accommodation.
