Charles has a wide range of commercial design experience; working on retail, office, residential, industrial and leisure projects and has a particular interest and expertise in urban regeneration with an emphasis on sustainable mixed-use redevelopment.
A leader with strategic perception and decision making qualities, he is analytical, thorough and able to make critical and penetrating judgements and manage complex interactions.
Through his passion for realising projects in the most sustainable way, Charles established himself as one of the country's leading specialists and has been a speaker at major industry events. He was a key contributor to the Sustainability Section of the 2014 Edition of the British Council of Offices, Guide to Specification and previously contributed to the BCO Guide to fit-out and made a significant contribution in both the Architecture and Sustainability Section of the 2009 BCO Guide to Specification. He is passionate about charity work, having raised in excess of £7,000 for charity, including raising £3500 for Macmillan Cancer Care by cycling from Edinburgh to Inverness (185 miles) in two days.
