Working for one of our key clients, NewRiver, we have been appointed to design and deliver a multi million pound mixed use masterplan to include upgrades of the shopping centre gateway entrances, rebranding and redevelopment of the surrounding area.
Proposals for the 330,000 sq ft regeneration scheme feature more than 200 new homes and apartments, new and improved car park facilities, a 71 room Travelodge hotel and 6,500 sq ft of new restaurant offer.
The project will also include a complete redesign of the public realm, including new paving, landscaping, lighting and outdoor restaurant seating.
Cowley is one in a series of exciting projects that Corstorphine + Wright is delivering for NewRiver, including another major mixed use master plan at Burgess Hill in Sussex.
The project has already undergone public consultation and planning was submitted in November.
