Sainsbury’s

Sainsbury’s store in Lincoln is the first to be developed from the Harvest Partnership, a 50:50 joint venture between Land Securities and Sainsbury’s, formed to unlock and realise the development potential of a number of sites throughout the UK.

Corstorphine + Wright was appointed to double the size of the existing Sainsbury’s store, making it one of the supermarket’s largest in the UK, with the building extended to the front and side using modern construction techniques and materials to reflect a flagship store of this size.

Corstorphine + Wright also completed the internal fit out of the store, which has been extremely successful since its relaunch in November 2010.

The scheme is part of a larger masterplan incorporating an extended Lindis retail park which will form a new shopping destination.
