Social Value
We don’t just design buildings – we open doors for the communities we work with.

Through our people-focused design approach, we foster human connection and wellbeing.
Our social value approach means we’re committed to delivering meaningful, measurable and long-lasting benefits to the communities we work with.

For us, social value isn’t just about creating apprenticeships or using a local supply chain, although those are important. Rather, it’s about analysing and truly understanding local needs – and taking a creative, ambitious approach to meeting them.
We therefore aim to embed social value principles throughout the project lifecycle, working with clients, partners, stakeholders and residents to open doors and offer potentially life-changing opportunities.

Diversity & Inclusion
We encourage people from all social classes, ethnicities and genders to see architecture as something they can engage with locally and as a career.

Training and Development
We help people develop their skills and aspirations, particularly in architecture. We try to employ people from the local area and from diverse backgrounds.

Growth
We support local economies through local supply chains, SMEs and partnerships – so we work collaboratively to drive growth and enhance the community.

Community Engagement
We get communities involved in design and construction – from resident engagement to local artist collaboration and volunteer programmes.

Education
We aim to expand horizons and develop passions, whether it’s arranging site visits for local schools or work placements.

Environment
We focus on boosting wellbeing and supporting environmental agendas – from designing energy-efficient buildings to providing much-loved green space.
Every project starts with a conversation.
Let’s discuss your opportunities, constraints and questions.
