Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Shortlisted at the European Healthcare Design Awards 2026

We are proud to announce that the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease has been shortlisted for the Design for Small–Medium Scale Healthcare Infrastructure category at the European Healthcare Design Awards 2026.

This recognition marks a significant milestone for the project team and the practice.

From the outset, the vision behind the Rob Burrow Centre has been to create a warm, dignified and uplifting environment for patients, families and staff — a place that redefines what specialist care can feel like.

Being shortlisted at this level is a powerful acknowledgement of that ambition and the collaborative effort that has shaped the project.

All shortlisted schemes in this category are guaranteed to receive either a High Commendation or be named the overall category winner, reflecting the exceptional standard of work represented.

As part of the awards process, each finalist is invited to present their project to the judging panel in a live webinar, followed by a Q&A session. Our presentation will take place in May, ahead of the final results being announced at the awards ceremony on Tuesday 16 June.
