This week marks Circular Economy Week, and at Corstorphine & Wright, we’re proud to be part of the conversation shaping a more sustainable built environment.
We believe that thoughtful design and purposeful delivery can contribute meaningfully to a regenerative, waste-free future.
Throughout the week, our teams have been actively engaging with the principles of circularity, including:
- Revisiting the six core principles of the Circular Economy and exploring how they can be embedded into our design processes
- Examining material choices and how everyday decisions can support a truly circular built environment
- Celebrating Jonny Plant’s appointment as Chair of the NLA Special Interest Group for Circular Economy
Jonny’s leadership within this influential group will help champion circular economy strategies across London’s built environment — promoting sustainable materials, adaptive design, and construction approaches that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and deliver long-term value.
At Corstorphine & Wright, we remain committed to designing with purpose. Small shifts in thinking and practice can lead to significant impact, and we’re excited to keep pushing forward bold ideas around materials reuse, circular supply chains, and design innovation.
