Find Corstorphine & Wright at FOOTPRINT+ 2025, where our Director Jonny Plant will join the panel on the Timber Stage to discuss designing low carbon commercial buildings and the Circular Economy.

The panel will focus on the recently completed headquarters for Unusual Rigging which has achieved a remarkable fusion of circularity, deep sustainability and employee wellbeing. Designed with circular economy principles at its core, the design had the flexibility to draw up a multitude of other sustainability guidance such as Passivhaus energy standards, whilst going yet further by using timber and bio-based materials to drastically cut embodied carbon while reducing running costs.

Jonny Plant will be speaking alongside Tom Harper, Managing Director of Unusual Rigging, and Tom Robinson, CEO and Founder of Adaptavate. The session will be chaired by Sabine Hogenhout, Design Director at KLH Sustainability. Together, the panel will offer first-hand insight into the collaboration behind this innovative building and its significance as a blueprint for low-impact, future-ready development.

The session is sponsored by KLH and will form part of the Timber Stage programme at FOOTPRINT+, taking place 14-15 May 2025.
