Corstorphine & Wright has completed the revitalisation of Hexagon Tower, a landmark research facility in Manchester. Originally designed in the 1970s for Imperial Chemical Industries, the building remains a key centre for science and technology innovation.
Working with Pioneer Group, we have delivered a transformation that enhances sustainability, functionality and future adaptability, while respecting the building’s distinctive geometric design. Key improvements include overcladding to preserve its iconic mosaic façade and the installation of high performance triple glazing, dramatically boosting energy efficiency.
