Corstorphine + Wright are delighted to announce that our Leake Street Arches project has been shortlisted for the 2018 Property Week and RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) Awards.

This high profile project undertaken on behalf of LCR involved the refurbishment of the arches and vaults beneath the former Eurostar terminal at Waterloo Station.

Located on the site of the famous Banksy graffiti tunnel, the vision was to create a vibrant urban dining destination and multi-use areas for events, festivals and pop-up markets that would spearhead the regeneration of the South Bank area.

We have worked closely with local artists and community groups to ensure the design preserved the urban culture and environment that was already established, whilst also creating an new aspirational restaurant, bar and cultural hub.

The new development works alongside the vibrant arts and music scene which surrounds the site, including the graffiti tunnel and House of Vans skatepark, nightclub and artist studios, whilst improving security, access and the public realm to create a safe and welcoming environment for diners and visitors.
