Along with our client Longmead Projects, we are delighted to have received planning permission for a residential development of up to 250 homes in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
Located on a 23.2-acre site, the proposal delivers a landscape-led scheme with high-quality homes in a sustainable and well-connected setting.
The proposal consists of a well-connected and attractive neighbourhood that includes amenity spaces, green corridors and public open areas. Active travel is supported through new pedestrian and cycle routes that makes this a welcoming place for future residents.
Our approach responds to the site’s existing landscape character and surrounding mixed-use context. The scheme preserves key features while integrating sensitively with the local area to create a sustainable and distinctive neighbourhood.
The development includes a mix of open market homes with 10 percent affordable housing, thoughtfully distributed across the site. A variety of 2.5 and 3-storey homes have been strategically placed to enhance the street scene, create focal points and ensure the neighbourhood is both legible and easy to navigate.
Congratulations to our client, the Corstorphine & Wright design team and all those involved across the wider project team. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this development will bring to the local community.
