Birmingham City Council planning committee has granted planning consent for our latest scheme with Fusion Students, paving the way for this new development at a landmark gateway site in central Birmingham.

Birmingham is home to five universities and there is high demand for quality accommodation in areas that are well connected by public transport due to the growing student populations.

Bristol Road, a Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) development, will provide 620 bedrooms on a currently brownfield site. Four linked buildings will make up the scheme, at heights of 8, 10, 11 and 17 storeys. Future residents can expect additional facilities including a gym and basketball court, dedicated study spaces, karaoke and games rooms, with a landscaped outdoor courtyard.

Corstorphine & Wright has a long-standing relationship with Fusion and this latest collaboration will enhance the existing neighbourhood, whilst providing high-quality accommodation for students that has a focus on wellbeing, community and health.

Congratulations to the whole team on this fantastic achievement. We look forward to seeing it progress.
