Corstorphine & Wright is working alongside Deeley Group to deliver a significant new employment-led development at Banbury Road, Gaydon. A full planning application has now been submitted, following a comprehensive public consultation held earlier this year.
The proposals set out plans for up to 500,000 sq ft of high-quality employment space, with the potential to create 400 to 500 new jobs across advanced manufacturing, logistics, and associated sectors. The development is designed to support skills development, apprenticeships and sustainable economic growth in the region.
More than 3,700 people visited the consultation website and over 600 provided valuable feedback that has helped shape the final scheme. Local input has been particularly valuable in addressing key topics such as traffic impact, design quality, sustainability and landscape integration.
This planning submission marks a key milestone in bringing forward a scheme that delivers long-term value both in job creation and in its contribution to placemaking, local infrastructure and environmental performance.
