By Suzanne Ross – 22nd December 2021

Each year, we reflect on the past 12 months with our annual Christmas message.

Despite another rollercoaster of a year, 2021 has been truly incredible and it is amazing what has been achieved.

We started off the year in lockdown and since then we have…

  • Refreshed our logo and launched our new website
  • Achieved planning consent for over 35 new schemes
  • Continued to expand the practice, welcoming 35 talented new team members
  • Maintained our 24th position in the Architects’ Journal’s annual AJ100 ranking
  • Won the Future Cities Forum award for the Burges in Coventry
  • Raised over £10,000 for good causes
  • Continued to support those studying to gain professional qualifications. We are hugely proud of all those who achieved their Part 3 qualifications
  • Saw 2 of our design and technical team announced as Fellows of CIAT
  • Doubled the number of mental health first aiders within the practice
  • Announced as Willmott Dixon’s Design Partner of the Year
  • Been shortlisted for a number of awards throughout the year for projects including Skelton Lake, Portside Park, Oxford Instruments, The Oaks
  • Ranked 46th in the Buildings Top 150 Consultants companies
  • Welcomed Tamworth based West Hart Partnership (WHP) to the Corstorphine & Wright family which saw the opening our 10th Corstorphine & Wright Studio
  • Became ISO 14001 Accredited
  • Been recognised as Architect Practice of the year at both Insider’s West Midlands Residential Property Awards and Insider’s West Midlands Property Awards

The above is a snapshot of just some of the achievements from the past 12 months. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our team, clients, partners and suppliers for all your support and we look forward to working with you in 2022.

From all the team here at Corstorphine & Wright stay safe and we hope you are looking forward to spending time with friends and family over the festive break. We wish you all a very happy Christmas and New Year.
