The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease achieved outstanding success at last night’s Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humber Awards earning recognition across multiple categories and securing three award wins including Building Project of the Year and Best of the Best.

These accolades highlight the project’s exceptional quality, its meaningful contribution to the community, and the strength of the collaborative approach that has driven it from concept to delivery.

The centre was celebrated for its:

Design excellence – acknowledging the thoughtful, patient‑centred architecture that underpins the scheme
Community impact – recognising the transformative role the centre will play for people living with MND and their families
Collaborative working – celebrating the integrated, multidisciplinary teamwork that has shaped the project

These wins further elevate the centre’s profile as a leading example of healthcare design innovation and collaborative project delivery, reinforcing its importance both regionally and nationally.
