Lancaster Wharf is a new PRS residential development located at a significant gateway to Birmingham City Centre, next to the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal.

266 high quality apartments are provided in total; delivered over two interconnecting blocks; a lower 5 storey podium and a 23 storey tower. an even split of 50/50 of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments have been provided along with 23rd floor residents room and roof terrace, cycle parking and residents room at ground floor and external canal side terracing; following positive consultation with the Canals and Rivers Trust. Use of materials across the scheme has been purposely selected to reflect and harmonise with the history and character of the immediate context.

The scheme provides early redevelopment of Birmingham’s historic Gun Quarter revitalising a neglected, industrial part of the city acting as a catalyst for the wider area’s redevelopment.

The tower creates a new focal point for the Gun Quarter with a distinct and unique building articulated at the corners to emphasise the site’s key status, whilst positively contributing to the existing cityscape of tall buildings.
