Whiteley town centre has been completely transformed into a modern, open and desirable retail destination – creating more than 1,000 new jobs.
It was the first shopping centre in the UK to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating. The 300,000 sq. ft development is anchored by a large, flagship Marks & Spencer store. Its 70 retail and leisure outlets include a mix of the very best high street brands.
Designed as a natural environment with open spaces, the scheme creates a pleasant and relaxed setting for visitors to meet, dwell, dine and shop.
Use of natural materials, extensive landscaping and specially commissioned public art throughout the streetscapes further enhance the shopping experience.
Since the shopping centre was completed, we were commissioned to deliver a multiplex cinema and leisure complex on the site.
