David joins the practice this month and brings with him an impressive work history and portfolio, including the Stirling Prize winning Bloomberg Headquarters (delivered whilst at Foster + Partners).
His experience spans a number of sectors from culture to transport, most recently working at Fast Company’s ‘Top 10 Most Innovative Architectural Practices of 2023’, the New Zealand based, Warren and Mahoney where he was responsible for leading significant projects, pushing technological innovation and honing his studio leadership skills.
David’s energy and enthusiasm expand beyond the studio, having completed multiple ultra trail marathons and the Tour Aotearoa; a 3000km bikepacking race across the length of New Zealand!
On his appointment at Corstorphine & Wright, David says, “I am very excited by the opportunity that lies ahead of me. My ambition is to tap into Corstorphine & Wright’s strength in collaboration across teams, studios and the practice as a whole. There is huge potential in the shared skills and experience of a 300+ person company, and I would like to be able to use that and add to it, looking to emerging technologies that can help turn the dial up on our creative processes.”
David’s appointment comes at an exciting time for Corstorphine & Wright’s Glasgow studio who are actively expanding their portfolio, reputation, and market reach.
