Corstorphine & Wright is proud to join a world class design team working on the £2.5 billion regeneration of York Central.
This ambitious mixed-use development is set to be one of the largest regeneration schemes in the UK that will transform a large brownfield site in the heart of York into a new neighbourhood, cultural space and commercial quarter. Corstorphine & Wright is one of a group of architects working on the residential elements of the project, specifically leading on the Build to Rent element.
Other practices involved in the scheme include Allies and Morrison, Grant Associates, Sheppard Robson, Cartwright Pickard, Haworth Tompkins and re-form landscape architecture.
We are honoured to contribute to the future of York, not only as part of this regeneration but also the exciting Coney Street Masterplan, which aims to revitalise the historic riverside.
Public consultations on York Central will continue through the summer of 2025, with the completion of Phase 1 in winter 2028.
