Corstorphine + Wright has a national reputation for sustainable design and we consider environmental issues at the very earliest stage of the design process. We understand that the initial layout and basic design principles of a building can contribute enormously to the energy efficiency, BREEAM rating and the future running costs of a building.
Over the last 15 years we have promoted sustainable design to create energy efficient buildings for many of our clients. Our experience has enabled us to develop the necessary skills to design intuitive solutions that embrace the principles of sustainable design. We consistently achieve BREEAM ratings of ‘Excellent’ and have more recently focused on producing low carbon building solutions that consider wider environmental issues such as ‘waste to landfill’.

As Architects we have built up excellent working relationships with some of the UK’s leaders in sustainable buildings including SaBRE a joint venture between Sheffield University and the BRE. We are a registered member of the UK Green Buildings Council.
